Our Work

The SCENE project portfolio is varied and vast – From 26,000 sq. ft of bespoke flexible and collaborative workspace for blue chip companies and global legal firms to widely recognisable food, drink, retail and leisure brands.

We are often the hidden figures of a fit out, and this year at SCENE we have decided to shout about what we do a little more, because we know we are excellent at what we do!

Here are a couple of our recent projects, check out our Instagram and YouTube platforms for images and videos of much more.

Anderson Strathern,
Capital Square, Edinburgh

SCENE was thrilled to be commissioned to deliver the manufactured joinery and fit out for this newly completed Grade A development in the heart of Edinburgh’s Exchange District for Anderson Strathern.

The project presented challenges due to its city centre location and the fact that it was undertaken in a live environment. The space now serves as the home for Anderson Strathern's team of over 270 employees.

SCENE collaborated with an expert team including Linear Design & Construct, Reid Mitchell, Wallace Whittle, FORM, and Blyth & Blyth. The project reached completion in late 2023, allowing the Anderson Strathearn team to move from their previous offices at Rutland Court just in time for the New Year.

Ceridian,
Skypark, Glasgow

SCENE delivered the bespoke joinery pieces and subsequent fit out for Ceridian's new open-plan offices within Skypark.

Ceridian is an award-winning human capital management technology company that provides HR, payroll, workforce management, and talent management solutions to organizations worldwide.

The new workspace boasts high-specification fixtures and finishes throughout, which includes several bespoke joinery pieces, crafted using traditional joinery techniques for more organic finishes, as well as fully automated CNC machining processes to produce functional and beautiful end products.

Nevis Range

SCENE was appointed as the interior designer and fit out contractor for this project nearly a year ago, collaborating closely with the main contractor, BHC Ltd.

The project journey involved using reclaimed materials from the Nevis Range hills, large slabs of natural timber, and some unique and impressive centrepieces.  Notably, two gondola cars were salvaged and repurposed into a reception desk for the new Base Camp Hotel and an incredible DJ booth, which even caught the attention of Red Bull!

Sustainability was at the heart of the client's brief, with the hotel fit out completed using a significant amount of repurposed or locally sourced materials.

We enjoy working with clients who share our commitment to sustainable construction and

fit out practices.

Bespoke Pieces

Here at SCENE we’re all about joining the dots between sustainability and design, making what might have been waste wood into something beautiful.

These custom pieces created by our skilled team in Glasgow are a great example.

Over the course of 2025 we’ll be sharing more about our culture, skills, portfolio and basically what makes SCENE tick. So be sure to follow us.
